Ellen Goebel is art director and founder of STUDIO Ellen Goebel, known for redefining and crafting design narratives for leading brands in art, culture, and commerce. Her studio has created visual identities for a range of clients, from fashion houses and cultural institutions to emerging talent and luxury lifestyle brands. Ellen's clients include companies such as Boss, Marc O'Polo, Windsor, and Peace in the Wild–Aroma Care, Ouverture–Fine Jewelry, as well as artists and publishers such as Julio Rondo, Tina Berning, and Distanz Verlag.

“Even before we know how something feels, how it sounds or smells – the visual controls these first impressions.” Ellen’s work is recognized for its blend of intuition, creativity, strategic insight, and profound respect for individual expression. Her projects range from visual identities and storytelling in different medias to image campaigns and curated publications. Driven by a belief in design as a strategic tool, Ellen brings each client’s unique essence to light, cultivating sustainable growth and resonant impact.

Before founding STUDIO Ellen Goebel, she led the art department at Marc O’Polo, building a practice that embodies confidence, intuition, and a refined design sensibility. A network of like-minded creatives supports her work, making possible a diverse range of expressions, from concept to creation.

Ellen is also co-founded OFFICINA, a collaborative design studio based in Berlin.
